Work work work....

Gregory was drowning in work again. He always seemed to be drowning in work lately. Between his final semester of law school, his internship, and occasionally help Matt out, he was ready to pop.

Luckily, he stumbled into the Cantina. "Maybe now I can get a five mnute break..." He found himself a seat, setting his oer stuffed computer bag and armfull of folders on it before plopping down. He leaned his forehead on the table. "Hmmm...5 minute nap...that's all I need and then I can finish my paper..." Sure, Gregory. 5 minutes was what it was going to take...try a week of sleep to catch up.

She chuckles again and tips up her ale to take a drink. "Have you ever heard of the Old Republic?"

He nods. "I've read practically every Star Wars book written...well, except the New Jedi Order...that was just a load of crap."

Greogry looks thoughtful. "Not that I can recall....but I haven't picked up a book for pleasure in years."

She nods. "So you've never heard of Darth Revan."

"No, that name doesn't sound familiar." he says with a shake of his head.

"Good." She tips her bottle up again.

Gregory sipped his coffee, looking thoughtful. "It's funny....Superheros are the norm for me. I meet other people in a nexus and they look at me in awe that I live in a city guarded from supervillans by the Teen Titans...but Jedi throw me for a loop."

Alora chuckles. "Even in my reality there are people whom Jedi throw for a loop."

"I know so many amazing people sometimes I wonder how I can be so...ordinary." he comments.

"Oh?" She lifts her brows quizzically.

"I know superheros, witchs and wizards, apparently I now know a Jedi, werepeople and vampires...the list goes on. And here's me: lawyer-in-training computer geek. I mean, my girlfriend is a pirate! She's the captain of a ship...and I can barely afford my rent." Ok, he was whining a little bit. His work load was really getting to him.
