Kalinka shivers very slightly at that idea. "Nyet. No. The stairs at home are made of stone, and very old. They are only used in emergency if the elevators are not working, and there are fire doors blocking them off and tied in to the security system also."

Blues gives her a bit of a smile. "Besides, with eight overprotecive uncles fussing over them almost as badly as they bothered you, I don't think we'll have to worry about them getting anywhere near the stairs. At least not for a few more years."

Kalinka chuckles at that, and nods. "I am sure you will be teaching them how to climb up the outside wall of the citadel and into the windows before they even know where the stairs are."
