Long overdue...

Spider's missed this place... but sometimes absences just can't be helped. Stuff comes up, things happen... stubborn kids want to go out to lunch armed like they're going to raid the place...

They'd all needed some adjustment time.

But here he is, after about four months. And unlike most times, this time he's not alone. He usually picks a nice seat where he can see the view and orders the same grilled strawberry cream sandwich and hot cocoa... but this time he'll look around for a spot with enough room to accommodate the seven kids with him.

"Husk," says the first of the four. he leaves out rank, figuring they've left that behind along with the GAR.

"Sev," says one of the others, covering until the clone next to him can finish a bite of food to answer.

"Solus," says the third, once that bite's gone. Like Sev's name - short for 'seven', it's based on a number... Mandalorian for 'one'.

"Trouble," says the fourth, with a mischievous grin that hints that he'd likely earned that name.

"Family back home named Light," Spider explains. "Miss Roll makes the best cookies 'round those parts, though Quint's come awful close."

Scrat chuckles at that last little commando. "Something tells me that you would find much in common with my squad brother named Leeroy."

"Nah. He's such an old fart now that he's too lazy to do anything interesting." Atin snorts and then smirks.

"Gotcha." Canderous grins, then glances over as he notices the two older clones. "You two jokers sluffing off again?"

"Always," says Atin, then stuffs a couple peppers into his mouth and grins.

"He's good at getting into and out of it," says Sev, in reference to Trouble's name, as he gives the other little commando a slight playful shove.

Seth's looking over from his plate of spaghetti and wondering if he should introduce himself too, or stay out of it. Spider will just give his hair a ruffle.

Trouble ends up doing it for him. "The little guy down there's Seth... Spider picked him up after a fight on Naboo, and the girls are Eldewn and Elsae."

Scrat's smile toward the other children is warm; one of those rare smiles that invokes confidence in those who see it. "Hello, Seth, Eldewn, and Elsae. Are you brother and sister to these ones now?"

"Hey, you ate all the peppers, you dork." Blue pauses to look into the bowl and then give Atin a slightly peeved frown.

"Fine, I'll make some more." Atin snerks at her, and then holds his hand over the bowl, which is suddenly sparkling with red lights which soon give way to a heaping portion of the little stuffed peppers.

"Yessir," says Seth without hesitation, in between bites of spaghetti. After all, they were all Spider's, right?

The girls exchange a glance before Eldewn says, "We're thinking about it." They'd taken care of themselves for so long that they're more than a bit wary... even if secretly they'd really like to have a home.
