Smiley Miley

Smiley Miley, isn't so smiley today. She's sitting in the Cantina, legs crossed under her trying to do her home work. Big problem was she was exhausted thanks to having to go to a movie premiere the night before. Strangely a study on Bugs, wasn't holding her attension.

"'Sup?" asked a voice from behind her, and then Blade walked over and plunked down in the other side of the booth, dark eyes bored.

"Soooooooooo tired" she groaned "And bored..... as bored as listening to dads album!"

Blade quirked an eyebrow, then grumbled to herself and flopped backward. "I'd try to do somethin' about it, but I'm too bleepin' bored."

She smiled "Least the it was worth it, I went to the premiere of the new Batman movie"

"Batman's a dweeb." The smaller girl didn't open her eyes.

"Real cute actor" she smiled "Christian Bale, swoon worthy and the guy playing Robin was Adorable"

Blade yawned, but then sat up and looked at a very tall, very built young man who stopped by their table to look at her. "@#$%&$... you're big."

He gave a slightly shy grin. "I know. Hi, I'm Josh Gordon."

"Blade," she said, ignoring his hand. "'N that's ... uh, what'sername."

"Miley" she looked at him "Wow....... you are big"

"Yeah." He blushed slightly and took his hand back. "Um, nice to meet you." Then he turned to Blade, but was disappointed to see that she'd closed her eyes and was making a show of going to sleep.

-Oh great, I guess I won't get to talk to her. Now what do I do?- he wondered to himself.

Miley smiled at him "Want my cd?"

"I beg your pardon?" He politely hunkered down so she didn't have to crane her neck back, wondering what she meant.

She rummaged in her back before presenting him a copy of Hannah Montana's recent cd. "I just got it in the mail, and dadda said I can give some to friends........and y'all here are friends" she smiled.

He took it and turned it over in his big hands to read the back. "You did this?"

"yeah, I don't keep Hannah a secret here, everyone knows" she smiled "jack keeps wearing my wigs......."

His mouth twitched as he looked back to her. "Yeah, places like this are hard to keep secret identities in."

Something about the way he said it told her that he knew this personally.

"What the secret Identity you try to keep?" she asked "Do you wear blonde wigs and short skirts on a stage too?"

"No. I fly around and save the day." His voice was low.

"LIke Superman?" she asked "I have a song about superman" she grinned singing a bit of one of her songs "Who said, who said I can't be Superman. I say, I say that I know I can. Who said, who said I won't be President. I say, I say you ain't seen nothin' yet"

"That's what they call me." He flushed very slightly.

"Can I get your autograph?" she smiled brightly. "Maybe a photo, your adorable"

"I don't generally do autographs," he said embarrassedly and apologetically. "And a picture probably wouldn't be a good idea."

"Darn" she grinned brightly

"Sorry." He offered an apologetic grin which showed in his dark eyes, too.

"I'm teasing" she smiled "I like you" she said "Cute and shy"

"And married," he said quickly, ignoring a snort of amusement from Blade's side of the booth.

"OOOH Can I see wedding pictures?" she asked "Cause my Daddy had a KILLER mullet at his....... kindda ruined the wedding image you know?"

"I haven't got any with me." His mouth twitched at the corners.

He's got a few holos of his wife, though....

She pouted "Next time? Cause seriously, mah dad..... KING Of the mullets."

Josh chuckled. "One of the guys that I work with had one of those for awhile, till someone set it on fire."

She laughed "Dad grew his out something about buisness being over and being able to party 24/7"

"Um. Okay." He quirked an eyebrow good naturedly, not really understanding.

"You know how they say a mullet is buisness on top all party down the back.... he parties now" he grinned.

"Oh." His expression cleared. "I hadn't heard that saying before. I wonder if anyone uses it on my Earth?"

She smiled "Ah, well it's a well-know-en where ahm from" she laughed.

He chuckled, then started slightly as his watch beeped. "Oh oh."

"Ohoh?"

"Lunch break's over." He grinned and stood.

"Oh" she smiled "Well thanks for say howdy"

He gave a slight shrug and another shy smile, as though unsure of what to say to that. "You're welcome."
