A tall, muscular man clad in sport jacket and jeans walked into the cantina, then stopped and looked around as he recognized the place and remembered when he'd been here last.

-Four years,- he thought, pondering going back home for a moment before shrugging and walking over to a booth. -This is as good a place to work as any.-

One hand went up to absently rub the big purple bruise on the side of his face; souvenir of his last encounter with a door frame. Then he seated himself and asked the furry waitress for a coffee before immersing himself in his work.

The combination of unusual appearance but human scent was a little off-putting, but Elisa didn't pay much attention to it. She had a friend, after all, who looked human but smelled more like a Gargoyle.

"Throw in a couple giant robots, this place'd be just like the Nexus."

"No, we don't want any of those." A young man stopped on his way over to the table full of girls, blue cat's eyes widening slightly.

Goliath looked at him questioningly.

"We're here because of giant robots," the young stranger explained. "We were illegal back on Earth, and the robots were the government's way of dealing with us."

"That's... mad." Goliath frowned. "What are you that they decided thus about you?"

"Different." He shrugged and looked toward the girls as they called to him.

"I'm mostly talking about Transformers, actually," Elisa explained. But she shook her head. "Same damn thing everywhere you go. People just don't deal well with different."
