"Oh man, knew I took the wrong turn in Albuquerque" the young street kid complained. Running fingers back through his Raven hair. "Dang where AM I?" he compalined looking around before his stomach knotted tightly growling. "Ah man" he groaned. "HELLO?!" he called.

"He likes 'em." Dog carefully got the pit out of the green fruit, then let the baby boy take it and eat it, stroking the little guy's hair as he chewed.

Dee wrinkled his nose "Odd kid"

"If he was still talkin' you'd proly have cause t' say that." He sighed and offered Ben a bite of sandwich, which was accepted in silence.

"Talking?" he said looking confused "Uh, ok but he's very small........."

"Talks as good as I do." He watched Ben feed himself with a spoon... held in his toes.

"He's a mutant. What you call Meta." Dog shrugged. "Always ben able ta git around better 'n talk better 'n normal."
