"Oh man, knew I took the wrong turn in Albuquerque" the young street kid complained. Running fingers back through his Raven hair. "Dang where AM I?" he compalined looking around before his stomach knotted tightly growling. "Ah man" he groaned. "HELLO?!" he called.

"Human. 'N not unless I gotta." He gave the people their food and a smile, then went back for more.

Dee was trailing behind him like a puppy. "Cool.......so what do you do? Just like...... wait tables?"

"Pretty much." The light pack he wore on his back moved slightly and Ben's head popped out to look around.

His eyes went wide looking at the baby "Oh" he murmered "Oh my"

"Eh?" Dog looked at him quizzically as Ben sighed and leaned back to chew a finger thoughtfully.

"You've.........a monster on your back" yes he was aware it was a baby. But same difference in his eyes.

Dog shook his head and continued with his work.

Dee watched him before murmering "Uh...... you need a hand?"

"Wanna bring them dishes t' the bar?" He nodded toward a recently abandoned table.

Dee nodded "Sure" not as exciting as he'd have hoped for but saved him from being bored.

"Thanks, bub. Jes' set 'em by the sink." Dog gave him a smile and returned to his work, though he kept an eye on the boy.

Dee continued to follow Dog around helping. Until the point he drops a pile of plates "Whoopsies?"

"Good thing they don't break, eh?" Dog actually grinned at him from where he stood by a table across the room.

"Sorry....... flying through the air.... no problem, kicking ass, same...... balancing plates, is hard"
