Finding time for a day out...
Blues and Kalinka have been meaning to check this place out for quite a while now. It was surprising how often something could keep coming up when you have a pair of twins to watch. Not to mention all the other things both parents tend to meddle in.
But they're here now, with little Mikhail and Ciel. And without any other guards or chaperones.

The landlady shrugs cheerfully. "Not like it's goin' anywhere. There's a booth by the windows."

"Thanks." Blues holds both of Ciel's little hands to see if she can toddle all the way over to the booth. She can't quite manage walking without support yet.
Kalinka just carries Mikhail over. The other twin is more interested in looking around, and was just napping a few minutes earlier.
Speaking of looking around, the view is interesting.

The blanket squeaks quizzically, and Kalinka will feel a soft brush of innocent, friendly emotion that isn't her own.

Kalinka encountered Mew while she was expecting, and therefore knows barely enough to recognize empathic contact - and connect it to the squeaking blanket. "Hello to the both of you."

Kalinka, it might be noted, does not mind as much. And Ciel and Mikhail haven't noticed the drinks. As soon as they were up in the seats, both twins soon discovered the view. Managing to stay upright by holding onto the windowsill, they're both peeking out at it now.
((Somehow I nearly missed this one. -_-; XD ))

"Relax." He pats her gently on the shoulder in a way one would expect from a much older child, then runs over to the table and offers two menus, standing up on his little bare toes to make himself more noticeable. "You can order anyfing, but the fancier stuff might take a few momebents because we gotta cook it from stratch. Scratch." He beams beatifically, and the pink tribble that's stuck to his back coos softly.

Luckily, neither Blues nor Kalinka want anything really fancy. Some cereal for the twins, maybe some sausage gravy and biscuits since it seems to be breakfast time. Mostly, they're here for the chance to get out for a while, away from various responsibilities both have and the perpetual snow around Kalinka's home in Siberia.

Leia snorts at him and runs away.

Ciel, meanwhile, has other things on her young mind. She likes the view, and wants to share it. Dropping into a crawl she makes her way to the diaper bag in the seat next to Kalli, and looks inside. The ten-month old reaches in and pulls out a somewhat caterpillar-like creature. She hugs it and then, with it clinging to her, makes her way back to the window to use the windowsill to pull herself back to a standing position.

Ciel, meanwhile, is happily babbling away to the stress worm about the view. Mikhail, on the other side of the table, is much quieter but no less attentive in his looking out the window.
