Dueling Daughters and a Nervous Uncle
"That's not fair!" Tiji growled, throwing herself to the side, but still unable to dislodge the warrior girl off her back. Both girl stumbled through the Cantina doorway, tumbling to the floor in a heap, nly to freeze and look up.
"Huh?" Tiji said, looking around as Laka let go and got to her own feet, helping her cousin up as they looked around.
"Girls!" Atton stumbled in right after them, looking both ashen and red with breath shortness. He blinked, then sighed. "Great. Now what?"
"It's a cantina, like the other one, but different," Tiji looked around.
"Oh... well, alright. Don't wrestle in here," Atton said, taking a deep breath and nearly sprinting fr the bar.
Laka rolled her eyes, and Tiji smirked.
"Let's find some boys," she said eagerly. Laka gave her a look of utter contempt, but allowed herself to be dragged out of her uncle's eyesight.

Frank frowned and looked around with identical green eyes, his mind whirring as he tried to figure out what had happened. "Another gas attack? Hallucinogenic?"

Laka sighed, then glanced over as Atton's back went stiff as a board and he watched the newcomers with the intensity of a man who's life was n danger.

"We took our meds this morning, right?"
"Yeah. Remember, I hit you in the head with the bottle."
"Right, and the ____ melted before I swallowed it."
"But, dude... that's stuff from a really old game." Frank's face creased with confusion and concern.

"Yeah, that," Tiji smirked, then winced as Laka hurled a glass at Atton, who caught it quickly but fell off his stool in a spectacular crash.

Frank shook his head and gave Tiji an apologetic look. "His brain's a little busted."

Meanwhile, Earnest had managed to tie Laka's foot to her stool with a bootlace he'd had in his pocket without ever leaving his turtle position.

Laka blinked as she tried to move, then looked down and kicked the stool leg so hard it snapped, and suddenly she found herself lying across the young man, the stool on top of her.
She blinked, then looked at him before poking his side.

"Here, I'll show you." Frank pulled his personal computer out of his pocket and flipped it open before laying it on the table. Then he took a rolled piece of what looked like plastic from the cargo pocket of his pants and lay it flat before attaching the cord on it to the pc. This done, he found the movie that he wanted and the part that showed the statues of the kings and held the portable screen up for her to see.

Laka grinned evily, poking him again and again, attempting to earn more of those strange sounds this boy seemed to create on a regular basis.

Yes, so not used to being an individual.
"We should probably go play outside." Earnest looked around at all the breakables and thought of what Max would have said to him for even thinking of Indian wrestling indoors.

Tiji laughed softly, then paused, listening to the other two. "I think he's actually got through to her. Wow."

Then he turned back and kissed Tiji gently on the forehead before once more resting his cheek on her hair, his eyes absently taking in the scene of Frodo meeting Strider for the first time as he said huskily, "Yeah, maybe."

"Yeah," she said softly, eyes glazing in thought as she also returned to the movie.
