Bringing a friend to the cantina. ((locked to

((note to self: concurrent with this, this, and this thread in

There was a swish and a slight flash, and then Albus was standing near the bar with Fawkes on his shoulder and a young woman at his side. He blinked as always at the sudden change in scenery, then looked around with a smile to see if he could see anyone that he recognized before turning to Victor. "How do you feel, my dear?"

"I'm sure." Cassie smiled at Victor, then looked at the bowls and blinked. "Not that much, Mary. Give me a little less than half that."
"Fine," she grumbled cheerfully.
((:D))

She chewed at her lip a bit, finished her water.

"How are you feeling?" Cassie looked at Victor as she too resumed her place and addressed her dessert.

"'M feelin' a lot better. Most of it, now, 's just jumpiness an' stuff. Thank y'."

Small giggle at Mary, and she tipped her head down a moment. Blush. She ate slowly, carefully, and it soothed her throat and her nerves.

Cassie let her be, thinking that she needed a little quiet time after being hit with so many new things at once.
Then her eyes went to the living room windows as something huge lit on the terrace railing and folded draconian wings.

She jumped at the sound, yelped and rubbed her eyes. "Friend of yours. Yes?" Her voice was terse, strained. "Nothin' scary?"
no subject
"He who what... Opa!" Mary cheered, but stayed seated because she wasn't done yet.
((you know it's too hot when the Reeces cup on your desk... melts))

She relaxed a bit, picked at her icecream. "'Kay." Sigh. "Good." Girl was on edge.

Cassie went to the terrace door and threw it open, then glanced at Victor and thought it would be better for her to go out rather than having the friend out there come inside.
((I'm only in Edmonton, Alberta! And it STILL melted))
no subject
"That won't happen," she said with a grin.
Because she'd already wiped out a day prior. She finished her icecream and got up to put her bowl and glass in the sink.

((I kinda think parts of me melted too...))
no subject
"'Kay. Usually I ain't this...yeah. But t'day, an' yesterday. An' last week."
((*pets*))

Then she gave Victor a sympathetic look. "Yeah. Stuff'll do that."
no subject
She nodded, blushed. "Mmhmm."

"They're alright." She shrugged. "Grandpa's smells pretty good, but the stuff Wolvie uses smells better."
