"Is this place wheelchair friendly?" Bruce asked as he wheeled in, he was covered in paint and it was probably best not to ask why. He was in a stinking bad mood, had a headache the size of America, with as bad music as lower gotham. "Cause I need a shower and homes to far away"

"I don't think we can. She is really old," Jubilee sat by her and pet her head gently. She looked at Bruce and then looked back down.

"I hope you find a Pika," she said softly. "You look really good around her."

He smiled "Darn I don't normally look good?" he asked with a soft smile.

"You look happy," she corrected herself with a grin. "You always look good."

"Pika seems to have a strange effect on me"

"That's true. But maybe it's time for Batman to ease up," she said softly, looking at him with a twinkle in her eye. "I mean, who knows? You could be the good guy peopel actually like."

He smiled "they like Bruce Wayne. The rich guy who has to get carried up the stairs. It gives them something to laugh at. 'All that money but he has to get help climbing the stairs'"

"You have one of those banister things?" she asks, head tilted. "You know, the chair on a moving track? It attaches to the walls, I hear even old old people can use it.."

He rose a brow "At Home, but not all public building are equiped. I think that's why one of my former proteges works from a clock tower now"

"Huh. Thought everything was supposed to be wheel-chair accessible," she frowned, then smirked. "Want me to set his pants on fire?"

"Meant to be, but it is gotham" he pointed out. He laughed "No it's ok, but you could set sidekicks pants on fire"

"Cool," she grinned, tiny fireworks popping around her hand.

"he's linked himself up with Superman as his side kick" he shuddered

"Superman's an idiot," she snorted. Then she blinked. "He is kinda cute thouh."

"I REALLY didn't need to hear that" he shuddered "He's also a clumbsy life ruining OAF"

"Well, come on. You have to give facial credit where it's due. But it still says nothing but that we know why he's popular. You're cute too, when the hood's off. How... how'd he ruin your life?"

"Flash is better looking" he muttered "Or.......Green lantern" he said grumpily. He looked down a moment "He broke my back"

"He did this to you? That doesn't sound like the boyscout Scotty looks up to," she frowned deeply.

"He did, you can see why I'm not fond of my former protege taking him as a side kick"

"Yeah. But at least your protoge didn't become his protoge. You trained Supe's trainer. That's gotta be somethin'," she said hopefully.

"I hope your right" he agreed with a nod "at least maybe he's not being so clumbsy......."

"A hug?" he asked "I've not had a hug in..........well Alfred died six years ago.....so six years....." he paused "Sure"

"You're pretty cool," she smiled. In his lap Pika stirred with a rumble and moved slightly, joining the hug.
