"Is this place wheelchair friendly?" Bruce asked as he wheeled in, he was covered in paint and it was probably best not to ask why. He was in a stinking bad mood, had a headache the size of America, with as bad music as lower gotham. "Cause I need a shower and homes to far away"

"ok" he said softly taking it to give Pika the shot.

The giant cat jerked slightly and let out a deep rumble of discomfort, then sighed and fell into a deep sleep.

Jubilee sat by her, and pet her head.

"So... she used to work with you?" she asked.

"uh not me, but a double, I've met a small version...... she made me kind of like cats, shocking when I don't really like anyone" he said

"Ah. Yeah, little Pika's a cutey," she said thoughtfully. Then she looked at him. "What happened to you?"

"How do you mean?" he asked "That?" he motioned to the wheelchair. "Or.....?"

"Yeah, that," she said, blushing. "Sorry."

"Super brat" he sighed "snapped me"

She frowned deeply.

"I'm sorry," she said softly, then pet Pika again. "Hey, is there iike, any thing I can get you?"

He smiled "I'm, I'm surprisingly ok at the moment" he told her. A soft smile on his face.

"Well that's good," she smiled.

His attension turned back to Pika for a moment before looking back at her. "could I trouble you for a drink though?"

"No problem, sugar, what kind?" Jubes jumped up, eager to do something she knew.

"Caffeine free Coffee." he smiled softly "Extra sweet?" he requested. "Actually make it a hot chocolate"

"No problem," she hurried off and soon returned with a large mug of a rick, caffine free hot cocoa with whip creme.

"Here you go, Mr. Wayne."

He smiled "Thank you" she said softly "I appreciate it"

"No problem. heck, it's what I'm paid for," she laughed softly.

He smiled "No I, I mean not just for the drink...... for" he motioned to Pika "Letting me know......"

"Thanks for helping," she smiled. "Pika's a good friend, and she ares for the little things that come in here, if they're lost or hungry or whatever."

He smiled "Shes such a beautiful soul"

"Yeah. But... I don't think she's doing so well," the girl said softly.

"I don't think we can. She is really old," Jubilee sat by her and pet her head gently. She looked at Bruce and then looked back down.

"I hope you find a Pika," she said softly. "You look really good around her."

He smiled "Darn I don't normally look good?" he asked with a soft smile.
