There was a swish and a slight flash, and then Albus was standing near the bar with Fawkes on his shoulder and a young woman at his side. He blinked as always at the sudden change in scenery, then looked around with a smile to see if he could see anyone that he recognized before turning to Victor. "How do you feel, my dear?"

"See," she said as she returned and held out two potatoes, one with beautiful golden yellow skin and the other with unmistakable purple. "This is natural too, and the whole potatoe's got it."
"Tata." Nathan reached for the yellow one and happily sank his tiny teeth into the skin, then gnawed thoughtfully.
"You're really teevin', aren't you?" said Ben sympathetically.
no subject
Victor patted Nathan on the head again. "Poor dear." Sympathetic cluck. "Seems like it."
no subject
"The purple ones're good," Ben whispered helpfully, his bright brown eyes looking up at Victor.
((Those two colour potatoes are called Pink Nose, and underneath the red part of the skin the meat is white, and under the yellow part it's yellow. For true.))
no subject
"Dude, that's like freakin' sci-fi-stuffs, you know?"
She blinked down at him, smiled. "I'll try that then?" :D
no subject
"Spooks!" Ben chortled. "They can't come here neither!"
"Tata." Nathan held it up toward Victor's mouth.
no subject
"Ooh, 'm glad."
She laughed, pressed the potato lightly back to his hand. "It sure is."
no subject
"Nafen's ada went to Heaven," said Ben soberly.
"Ben, don't bother Victor with that stuff, okay." Cassie didn't turn from her work.
He blinked, then looked up at Victor earnestly. "Sorry."
Nathan, in the meantime, cut her a grin and started chewing on his potato again.

A subject, find a subject! "So..." Pause. "'M sorry for your loss. 'S a nice place y've got here. Good rent, or d' you own it?"
no subject
Ben sputtered softly as Nathan shared the potato with him, but then politely took a bite and ate it.
Mmlon hadn't moved in awhile, though his purring continued.

The entire atmosphere was just so relaxing. Almost overwhelming, it was so nice to be there.

And then the door opened and a blond girl who looked around fifteen seemed to blow in like a whirlwind as she bounced over to hug the woman.
"Dere's Mary." Ben didn't bother correcting his pronunciation this time. He was feeling too comfy.
no subject
"Hi, Mary. 'M Victor."
no subject
Then she walked over to hunker down and look at Ben. "Hey, you. Your ama says it's time for you to come home."
He blinked, then sighed soulfully. "Okay...."
no subject
"'S okay, we'll see each other 'gain."
no subject
The fluff squeaked and cooed.

Grin!

((That's tribble, lol. And I must to bed. Thanks for playing :D))

The kiss made her maternal instincts (or what counted for them in her case, which was more like 'they're lovely creatures, can I paint them?') flared up. "Awwww." She shifted a grip on the baby, turned her head to yawn. "'S cute."
no subject
Ben sighed, then gave a little giggle and patted Victor's back before turning and jumping to Mary. "Bye bye! Have a westful sleep."
no subject
"You too, dude." Grin!
no subject
"Bof," noted Nathan somberly, then cut a massive grin.
no subject
She smiled down at him. "Yes, I concur."
