There was a swish and a slight flash, and then Albus was standing near the bar with Fawkes on his shoulder and a young woman at his side. He blinked as always at the sudden change in scenery, then looked around with a smile to see if he could see anyone that he recognized before turning to Victor. "How do you feel, my dear?"

Blink-blink. And she made a number of interesting faces. One of them was out of delight that she could make the faces without wanting to cry. And one of the faces included a lot of confusion. "Alts, right? Or a genderswitch at an inopportune time?" It couldn't work at once! Victor only had an elementary understanding of such things, but she knew that for a fact. Right?
no subject
"So's Bethany," added Ben, lest this important part get forgotten.
no subject
"Oh?" Sliiiight confusion. So many names!
no subject
Albus looked at her in concern at the look on her face. "Are you alright, my dear?"
no subject
"Quite well, thank y' so much." Brilliant smile. "Goodness, I feel so much better now. Thank y'."
no subject
"Splendid!" Albus smiled, then looked out the window himself and blinked. "Oh."
((The scene's described on the comm. bio. They're up on one of the higher levels, about even with the statue's chins.))
no subject
"How...dude. Wowzer."
"Wow." She slid to the window, tracing the outlines of what she saw. Trace-trace.
no subject
"Breathtaking," murmured Albus, staring.
no subject
Transfixed. Completely.
no subject
"And you live here." Albus shook his head.
"Better beweeve it, bub!"
no subject
"'S cool, y'all. Real cool."
no subject
"Oh how lovely." Albus shook his head as he handed him over.
no subject
Grin!
no subject
"Ben!" came the admonishment from the bar.

"Would you like to meet Cassie?" asked Albus softly. "I have to return to the island soon."
no subject
She laughed. "You cutie!" She did a small hip-ish dance that she could only really manage when there was a baby to cradle. Any other time, she would be all like 'Hips? What're those?'
"I'd love t', sir." Quiet-soft.
no subject
"Excellent." Albus smiled, then paused and looked at Ben.
"I can go too," he said as he popped out from under the hat and leaned up to try and put it on Victor's head. "Ama knows Mrs. Winsester."
no subject
And a hat back on Victor's head made her very happy indeed. "'S okay?" Charming grin?
no subject
"Code her?" Albus had walked over to take the honey, but now he paused and looked down at her quizzically.
"Give'er the go ahead t' git through the shields that keep off-worlders from wanderin'. It don't hurt." Logan came up with a doohicky that looked like a credit card.
no subject
At the term 'code', Victor had to take a few deep breaths. Code. Not like in the movies where they implant numbers into your skin so that it shows up under the proper light. No, no. Code must be something else.
"Thankee."
no subject
"I still think that has to taste good, Ama," noted Ben, watching the card with thoughtful brown eyes.
"Yer not eatin' my key, runt." Logan shook her head at him and turned to walk back to the bar.
no subject
"Aye, yeah. 'S not a good thin' t' eat keys." A careful, slow spin.
no subject
"Shall we?" The grey-bearded man watched as Logan put the key away, then gestured that Victor and Ben should precede him through the door.
no subject
"Sounds good, sir." She stepped through the door tentatively, studying the door-frame with idle curiosity. "Thank y'."
